Brief
Create design elements, mainly graphs and tables for the stock page that mostly consist of a large amount of data. To keep the elements structured, also develop a component library and a design system.
Research
Initially, we looked through a number of stock analysis websites. When we looked for UI-related issues, we discovered a significant visual experience challenge. Many examples of cognitive overload are clear.
Design decisions
We mainly focused on 4 main subjects:
We made sure to make it easy for users to find what they are looking for by including intuitive navigation menus, search functionality, and filters for sorting data.
We created an interactive charts and graphs to visually represent stock performance and display analysis indicators.
We provided a brief overview of the company, its industry sector, key executives and recent earnings reports.
We tried to make it easy for users to find what they are looking for by including intuitive navigation menus, search functionality, and filters for sorting.
Result
This is only the beginning of the project and we are completely happy with it. The customer is beginning to see his vision come to life.
